Kaktüs Florist

Kaktüs Florist was founded in its present address where it goes on its service, on October 16, 1962 by Cavit Artok, who is still one of the most experienced florists in Turkey. Since the very first day of its establishment, it has employed many experts of flowers in its body, and it has paved the way for 25 florists to become experts, who design and deliver flowers in a highly qualified manner. In its old rooted past, Kaktüs Florist realized many “firsts” in the field of floristry in Turkey, and acted as a pioneer in making use of the state-of-the-art techniques of its time.

A Leader: Some “firsts” of Kaktüs Florist

It is the first florist in Turkey, which has offered mobilized service.
In 1960s the prevailing method was holding sales only in shops. Ordering through telephone, especially sending flowers to distant places was very difficult and even almost impossible; let alone being a luxury for customers. It was Kaktüs Florist that acted as an initiator for using a vehicle in order to make deliveries, and making these deliveries to any address.

Kaktüs Florist is the first florist in Turkey, which has been keeping accounts of its customers through a card system.
Within the period it was established, difficulty of bookkeeping was that, especially in case of institutional flower orders, this method usually resulted in confusion of accounts generally against customers. Long-term benefits of keeping reliable accounts, led the other florists making largely institutional-oriented sales to use this system, too. Today this system is replaced by the notion of operating through software and on-line systems.

It is one of the florists, which is among the first members of Interflora Fleurop network in Turkey.
Being one of the three earliest florists in Turkey, which still exist today, Kaktüs Florist is one of the first florists that foresaw the long-term problems due to remaining within the boundaries of its shop. Just making the right decision only two years after it was established, in 1964, it became a member of the Interflora Fleurop network, in order to survive up today. During the aforementioned period, Interflora was not organized within the borders of Turkey, and related applications were submitted directly to the international headquarters of Interflora. Kaktüs is still a member of Interflora Fleurop today, and it has had no problem with InterFlora since the date of its membership up today.

Since the very first day of its establishment, Kaktüs Florist has been proud of being placed twice in the Golden Florist List, in which very few and well-known florists are listed.

Today Kaktüs Florist is in service with its ten workers and two vehicles for distribution. Delivery in due time, and service of the highest quality through giving primary importance on customer satisfaction when necessary are the key factors in its surviving up today.

Besides providing institutional service to so many firms, Kaktüs Florist also provides service in invitational and organizational activities, and continues to hold sales both from its shop and on the net without making any concession in the quality whatever service and means are needed.
